Deja Johnson, a standout guard and forward who formerly played at Brownfield High School and now suits up for the Lubbock Christian Chaparrals, is set to take part in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.

Her team enters the tournament as the No. 6 seed and will face the third-seeded Colorado Mesa Mavericks in their opening game.

The first-round matchup is scheduled for Friday, March 13 at 11 a.m. at Kitty Magee Arena.
