Smyer Independent School District enrolled 431 students in the 2024-25 school year, a 0.7% decrease from 434 the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Among the student body, 51.7% were girls and 48.3% were boys.

Data also showed that most of the students were white (223), representing 51.7% of the district’s total enrollment. Hispanic students were the second-largest group, totaling 196 students (45.5%).

The grade level with the highest enrollment was fourth grade, with 37 students enrolled that year, accounting for 8.6% of the total student body.
