On Saturday, March 14, former Littlefield High School standout Chris Brown and the Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils were defeated 7-5 by the Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions during their NCAA Division I baseball contest.

The matchup took place at Torii Hunter Baseball Complex and marked the teams’ second meeting this season. They previously faced off on Friday, March 13, with the Delta Devils losing 10-3.

During Saturday’s game, Brown pitched three innings, allowing three earned runs with one walk and one strikeout.

The Delta Devils are scheduled to play their next game against Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions at Torii Hunter Baseball Complex on Sunday, March 15, at 1 p.m.
