Chris Brown, a former standout at Littlefield High School, contributed to Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils’ 5-3 victory over the UT Martin Skyhawks in their NCAA Division I baseball matchup held Sunday, March 8, at 1 p.m.

Skyhawk Baseball Field hosted the matchup—the third meeting between these teams this season. The preceding game on Saturday, March 7, saw the Delta Devils fall 9-1 to UT Martin.

Brown pitched four innings, surrendering three earned runs while issuing one walk and striking out one hitter.

The Delta Devils return to action Tuesday, March 10, at 6:30 p.m. against the New Orleans Privateers at Maestri Field at Privateer Park.
