CITY OF SYNDER: City Hall on Lockdown

City of Snyder issued the following announcement on July 6

As a precaution and due to the fact that this facility houses vital city administrative staff, this facility is on lockdown due to the rise in Corona Virus, COVID-19 cases.

Utility Department

The Utility Department will accept payments for your water bill through the drive-in or you can drop your payment in the night delivery box. Payments can be online at www.ci.snyder.tx.us or over the phone at (844) 635-0455. If you have new service, this may be handled through our drive thru. Credit cards and checks are the preferred payment. Call the Utility Department if you have any questions at (325) 573-4969.

Municipal Court

All court scheduled hearings are suspended and will be rescheduled for a later date.  All payment plans, extensions, deferrals, and driving safety course requirement timelines are extended.  Your required 20 day appearance date has been extended as well.  Warrants will not be issued and the court will do all we can to accommodate the needs of court clients.

You can make a payment online at www.ci.snyder.tx.us or mail your payment and required paperwork to Snyder Municipal Court, 1925 24th Street, Snyder, TX 79549.

Our Planning & Zoning departments will be making permits and scheduling inspections over the phone, fax or email. They can be reached at (325) 573-4959.
