Information regarding various lab tests available: Antigen test kits often cost less money than the tests we are offering through direct access testing. It is important to note that antigen tests will detect any coronavirus, like a common cold, not just COVID-19. We strongly encourage everyone to pay attention to the different test available over-the-counter and through a provider. Consider the effectiveness of the test in detecting COVID-19, as well as the accuracy of the test. The tests provided by Cogdell Memorial Hospital are highly accurate and sensitive to COVID-19.
