Sundown ISD issued the following announcement.
Ashley Cummings was hired by SISD in the spring as a payroll and human resources specialist. She is the wife of Sundown Athletic Director, Adam Cummings. Her family includes two wonderful children, Carter, her son and Laney, her daughter. They also have two household pets which include Cass, a dog, and Prissy, a cat. Her favorite movie is “Let There Be Light.”
Mrs. Cummings grew up in Fritch, Texas which is not much bigger than the town she lives in now, and she attended West Texas A&M University. Her favorite foods are either Mexican food or steak; she loves them both equally. Some of her favorite hobbies include: sports, reading, going to the beach, and spending time with family.
Mrs. Cumming’s favorite quote by Mother Teresa is, “Do small things with great love.” Her favorite thing about Sundown is the simple small town life, the traditions, and the Roughneck mentality.
She is looking forward to her time here in Sundown working for the school, raising her family, and rooting for the football team as her husband leads the Roughnecks to victory. Welcome, Mrs. Cummings.
