Bright Beginnings Academic Center had 46 students classified as at-risk during the 2018-19 school year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

At-risk students are those who could be dropping out of school for a variety of reasons, from failing tests to chronic absences.

The Texas Education Agency oversees primary and secondary public education. Its stated mission is to improve outcomes for all public school students in the state by providing leadership, guidance, and support to school systems.
