Enrollment Analysis: Hispanic students comprised 76.6% of Littlefield ISD schools' student body in 2022-23 school year

There were 921 Hispanic students enrolled in Littlefield ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 1.2% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Littlefield ISD schools welcomed 1,203 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, Hispanic students comprised 76.6% of the student body to be one of the most represented ethnicities in the district.

Littlefield ISD roughly covers schools within Lamb County and has a main office in Littlefield.

Among the four schools in Littlefield ISD schools, Littlefield High School recorded the highest enrollment of Hispanic students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 257 students.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
